laloba PROJECT

For a while, the inertia and women’s attitude towards each other has been worrying us. To solve this we developed the laloba Project.

laloba is a pinky ring, but that’s not all. It´s a representation of a pinky promise among women for a greater cooperativism and mutual empathy. With this ring we intend to bring a daily reminder about the need for help and empathetic attitude towards each other. We need once and for all end our scarcity and competitiveness mentality by attention, status or differences.

Furthermore, laloba is a social project. 100% of profit will be directed for the professional education of women at risk. Mainly in the areas of information and technology, because there are plenty of opportunities in those areas. At POES we believe that education and financial independence are life changing opportunities and a way to break through social paradigms.

The project’s name is engraved on the ring top. The inspiration came from the first chapter of the book Women Who Run With The Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés. The author brings a strong and beautiful tale about a wild woman, a kind of mother nature that dwell inside of each woman. laloba represents this: the individual strength of each woman – her wolf – reunited with the others for the common well-being.

POES major wish is that laloba will remind us of this sorority mentality every time we look at our pinkie.

Also a reminder about the other women we are embracing and supporting to a better life.

Composition and Care

– POES only uses noble materials, such as 925 silver (sterling silver – composed of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper alloy), 18K gold, and precious and semi-precious stones.

– All pieces are handmade in 925 silver and may or may not have rhodium or gold plating, as indicated in the product description.

– Silver naturally undergoes the chemical oxidation process that causes a change in color and texture. This process varies according to how you use it. It must be kept away from contact with water, alcohol, cleaning products, cosmetics, chlorine, and any other chemicals. Always remember to remove your jewelry before washing your hands!

– The gold plating can be harmed by mere use or friction.

– Natural stones and pearls can damage and even break with impacts.

– Always keep jewelry in a dry place and away from direct sunlight.

– Store and transport the jewelry separately, so that they are not close to each other to avoid any friction.

– Do not use cleaning products, cosmetics, chlorine, and any other chemical products.

– Do not use abrasive products for cleaning. Just polish it carefully with dry flannel.

– Sudden falls cause irreparable damage to the product
